Merging 4 agencies in 9 months? No problem. Creating a new agency from scratch? Okay. Turning a provider organization into a managed care ogranization? Introducing mental health services in schools? Redesigning a confusing org chart into a cool reflection of a powerful mission? Nurturing a jazzed workforce of inspired leaders and high performers?
For over 25 years, Jeanne Supin has helped organizations achieve these goals and more, specializing in large-scale change for those dedicated to changing the world.
Jeanne's niche is public agencies, non-profits, ngos, and any for-profit that grows social good, sustainability and empowerment alongside revenues. She's helped organizations with $300M+ budgets to fledgling starts-ups and all sizes in between. (See Jeanne's list of recent clients). But she's discovered size and merely a do-good mission statement aren't quite it. Fabulous, world-helping organizations start with great mojo, and they keep it that way, no matter how they choose to expand or whether their offerings are free, taxpayer funded or premium priced.
A huge futurist, Jeanne loves grand visions and helping folks reach them, and ironically that happens when you keep it simple. Jeanne has an uncanny ability to simplify the complex, find the essence and then nail the best strategies.
Jeanne also calms. Audacious goals, large-scale change, quantum leaps ... they're exciting but, let's face it, they also bring chaos. Things spin, feel unstable and shaky. And people freak out. They get scared, resistant, feisty, paralyzed or they just plain behave badly.
Chaos is fleeting, but it sure feels intense in the moment.
This is where Jeanne really shines. She can stand in the middle of chaos and bring clarity and calm, purpose and peace. She clears the clutter and cuts to the chase:
Plus, Jeanne will go for what works, even if it's unconventional. She blends decades of traditional organizational expertise with deep knowledge about intention and resonance. She may combine a familiar strengths assessment with an odd little meditation for powerful results. Some tools may seem weird, but they are guaranteed to work.
At University of California – Santa Barbara (BA – 1982, MA – 1988) Jeanne studied American politics and public law. (She studied revolution theory, too, which comes in surprisingly handy.) She climbed the career ladder with politicians, tiny non-profits, and large public agencies. Then in 1998 she left her cubicle to run her own consultancy, serve a vast array of wonderful clients and play more with her young daughter (who's now all grown up ...)
Her clients span the country: merger in Connecticut, organizational redesigns in North Carolina and California, strategic planning in the Midwest ... leadership trainings from DC to LA, Orlando to Portland, from small groups in Muskegon, Michigan (complete with a blizzard and unprecedented snow-day) to a large group overlooking the sunny San Diego harbor.
